Eileen Haubl to leave Providence

After an extraordinary 37-year career with our organization, Eileen Haubl, interim Chief Financial Officer for OCHD, is leaving Providence to begin the next chapter in her career. For nearly four decades, Eileen has provided thoughtful leadership, sound judgment and a steady hand in times of change.

Eileen joined Providence in 1988 and has contributed in nearly every aspect of our financial operations. She served as CFO for Mission Hospital beginning in 2012, expanding her responsibilities in 2020 to also serve as CFO of St. Joseph Hospital Orange. When Finance adopted the unified service-area CFO model for OCHD this past June, Eileen stepped into the interim role with her characteristic steadfast commitment.

Over the years, Eileen has been a driving force behind Mission’s expansion efforts – including major capital projects such as Tower 2 and the Leonard Cancer Institute – and has played a central role in shaping master facility plans at both Mission and St. Joseph. She has also been instrumental in navigating joint ventures and complex market dynamics, offering a strategic, creative and trusted perspective.

Known for her candor, sharp business sense, and unwavering commitment to our Mission, Eileen has been a trusted advisor and friend to leaders and physicians alike.

Eileen recently shared, “It has been a blessing to have worked at Providence St. Joseph Health all of these years.”

Please join me in thanking Eileen for her remarkable service and in wishing her every success as she moves forward. She will continue in her role through January 6.
