- Posted On:
I’m pleased to announce that James "Jim" Hart has been selected to serve as the Chief Mission Integration Officer at St. Joseph Hospital. Jim brings with him a deep understanding of the Mission Leader role, having actively participated in the Providence Mission Leadership Institute. for several years. His first day will be July 14.
As CMIO, Jim will play a crucial role in ensuring our Catholic identity, mission, values, and charisms are experienced by those we serve and are embodied by all caregivers. Through formation, spiritual health, ethics, discernment and outreach, Jim will extend our mission to our communities and beyond.
Jim brings to the role a unique blend of leadership, deep roots in Catholic ministry and a long-standing connection to the hospital community. You may know Jim from his service on the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation Board or his volunteer work as a Eucharistic Minister with our Spiritual Care team since 2018, experiences that have strengthened his commitment to our hospital.
Jim is currently in his fourth year of formation to become a permanent deacon in the Diocese of Orange. He is actively involved in parish life at La Purisima Catholic Church in Orange.
Jim and his wife Tracey live in Tustin and have four children: Aidan (21), Kathleen (20), Reagan (18), and Finn (16). He holds a master's degree from The Catholic University of America and a bachelor's degree from UC Irvine. Most recently, Jim held a leadership role at a global media technology company.
Please join me in welcoming Jim to his new role as CMIO.
