A Message of Gratitude

Medical Staff,
Happy Thanksgiving.
As we head into the holiday, I hope you’re able to rest, reconnect and reflect on the good in your life — your health, your loved ones and the community we’ve built here at St. Joe’s.
Every day, I find myself impressed by this team: the extra time you spend with a family, the smiles and laughter with colleagues and caregivers in the hallways, the small moments of compassion with our patients. It’s this spirit that has carried this hospital for nearly 100 years, and it’s what I’m grateful for this week.
To those working on Thanksgiving: thank you. Your service on a day centered around family and gratitude means so much. Because of you, families across Orange County are able to count on us when they need us most.
As a small token of appreciation, we’re providing a Thanksgiving meal for all caregivers and providers working day or night shifts through 11 p.m. on Thursday. Please stop by the cafeteria for turkey, ham, potatoes, vegetables and pie — a warm meal from us to you.
To all of you, thank you for everything you bring to this hospital. Your compassion, skill and commitment to exceptional care are what set St. Joe’s apart.
