Acceleration Installation–New Linear Accelerator at the Center for Cancer Prevention and Treatment

A new linear accelerator will go live in June at the Center for Cancer Prevention and
Treatment radiation oncology department. It was delivered this past month through the skylight as
part of a carefully coordinated effort. The project includes a $4 million investment in the
equipment, along with $3 million for delivery, installation and training. It was all fully funded through
philanthropy.
