“Marvin” is a friendly name that represents its team of therapists, user success coordinators, clinical experts, available to support you in your behavioral health care and help you feel your best. 

How do I sign up for Marvin?
Go to meetmarvin.com and be matched with a therapist who fits your needs, based on your preferences for their background or demographics, your availability, and your goals for the therapy relationship. 

Who is eligible to use Marvin?
All Medical Staff members and their family members 18+ are eligible for Marvin. 

Is there a session limit?
No. Your sessions, including length and frequency, are determined based upon your needs and the clinical judgment of your provider. 

Is Marvin confidential? 
Yes, Marvin sessions are 100% confidential, HIPAA-compliant, and end-to-end encrypted. 

Who are Marvin therapists? 
All Marvin clinicians are fully licensed, including MDs, psychologists and masters level, with an average of 10 years experience working in a healthcare setting. Each therapist participates in Marvin Academy, a 5-week training program, to better serve our unique client base, including providers of color and Spanish speakers. 

Can I use my insurance with Marvin? 
Yes, Marvin is accepted by most insurance companies in the U.S. You can also pay for Marvin sessions out-of-pocket for $95 per session. If you need financial support, you can apply for a Marvin scholarship. 

Does Marvin provide couples and family counseling?
Yes. Email user-success@meetmarvin.com to be matched  with a couples or family therapist.

How do I log in to Marvin?
Therapists offer flexible session hours outside the typical 9-5 hour – in the evening, weekends, and even late at night. In addition, you can connect with a licensed therapist 24/7 on its 888-404-1163 hotline.

Do Marvin clinicians prescribe medication?
No. However, if you would like to connect with a psychiatrist, they can refer you to an area psychiatrist or primary care physician who accepts your insurance, and can help you schedule the initial appointment.
