Medical Staff, This week, Providence announced a new organizational model built around care networks, designed to strengthen how we work together to better serve our patients and communities. With this transition, I am stepping into an expanded role as Chief Executive of the Orange County/High Desert Care Network. What's changing I will no longer serve as chief executive of Providence St. Joseph Hospital. A South Division internal search process is currently underway to interview and select a new chief executive by the end of the year who will provide dedicated leadership for our hospital and report directly to me. I remain deeply invested in St. Joseph Hospital. While my role is changing, I'm not going far. My office will remain on the St. Joseph Hospital campus, which is centrally located within Orange County. This will allow me to stay connected to St. Joseph Hospital while also being accessible to our other ministries and teams throughout the care network. What's staying the same I will continue to oversee our Orange County/High Desert ministries, with each chief executive reporting directly to me. Under the new structure, Physician Network (formerly PCN) leadership will also report to me, bringing hospital and physician network leadership into closer alignment. Moving forward We are rapidly preparing to tackle what lies ahead. We have a tremendous opportunity to shape the future of health care in Orange County and the High Desert. Our care network brings together exceptional hospitals, physician networks and joint venture partners, each with unique strengths and a shared commitment to the communities we serve. It has been a privilege to lead St. Joseph Hospital. The dedication, compassion and resilience of our caregivers and medical staff are what make this hospital exceptional.
