Donate Life Flag Raising Ceremony Raises Awareness

In honor of Organ Donor Awareness Month, we came together to raise the Donate Life flag—a powerful symbol of hope, second chance, and the extraordinary decision to give life to others, even in moments of profound loss. We honor the courage of donor families, the resilience of transplant recipients, and the dedication of the medical teams who make transplantation possible every day.

For more than 50 years, our transplant program has been part of this community, transforming generosity into survival and loss into legacy. This life-saving work is made possible by a deeply connected team of surgeons, physicians, nurses, coordinators, pharmacists, social workers and partners, proving that transplantation is never the work of one, but a shared commitment to compassion and care. Together, we celebrate the lives changed, and the lives still waiting.
