Sister Francis Dunn Bldg Board Room Named for Emeritus Physician Leader
The St. Joseph Hospital Foundation recently celebrated naming its board room in honor of Ray Casciari, MD. Dr. Casciari specialized in pulmonology for over 50 years. He served on the Medical Staff Executive Board from 1986–87 and 1995–2001, the last two years as President. He was the first physician to chair the hospital’s Board of Trustees; and was the hospital’s first Chief Medical Officer, from 2007–2012. After retirement he served for several years as a hospital medical spokesman, and continues to teach monthly Crew Resource Management Training classes for new Medical Staff. Thank you to longtime dear friend Claire Biggins for making a legacy gift in Dr. Casciari’s honor.
