BRAVO: Standing Ovations for Extraordinary Care

In August, 592 Bravo recognitions were received, and 89 were Medical Staff. The Bravo program acknowledges the contributions our physicians, caregivers and volunteers make each day in our ministry. Recognitions can be submitted by patients, families, visitors and fellow caregivers.

The finalists were chosen by the SJO Spirit & Recognition Squad, a committee consisting of caregivers from various departments and disciplines and focused on St. Joe's culture.

Catherine Artoun, D.O., Obstetrics/Gynecology
Dr. Artoun took stress out of an overwhelming situation for an expectant mother. When arriving at St. Joseph, Dr. Artoun seamlessly stepped in to answer all the family’s questions throughout the process with an unwavering kindness, encouragement, and patience up through delivery. Her excellent care and resolute compassion extended past the birth, with Dr. Artoun carving time out eight months later to formally meet their son, cementing two truly memorable and meaningful experiences.

Kevin Pham, MD, Nephrology
Dr. Pham is recognized for his clinical expertise, compassionate presence, and unwavering advocacy for patients with kidney disease. Known for creating a healing and welcoming environment, he brings skill, kindness, and hope to those in his care. His commitment extends beyond the bedside through active community involvement, including volunteer events with his family at St. Joseph Hospital and throughout
the broader community. Dr. Pham’s dedication to patients, colleagues, and neighbors reflects the spirit of service and excellence.
