We’re proud to celebrate a major milestone for Abtin Khosravi, MD, general surgeon and Medical Director of Robotic Surgery at St. Joseph Hospital, who recently completed his 3,000th robotic procedure using the da Vinci Xi and SP systems. This achievement reflects not only Dr. Khosravi’s exceptional skill and leadership, but also the strength and continued growth of our robotic surgery program. With more than 16,600 lifetime robotic soft tissue cases performed on the da Vinci platform, St. Joseph Hospital now ranks first in da Vinci robotic procedures across Providence—a testament to the collaboration, innovation and clinical excellence of our entire team.
